Pre-College Program

BEYA For Pre-College

Each year the BEYA STEM DTX Conference hosts over 2500 K-12 students from the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) metropolitan area and mid-Atlantic region. We, and organizations like RTX, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Huntington Ingalls Industry, Google, and the U.S. Army support the conference, engage students in science, engineering and mathematics activities, pre-college prepare workshops, and host mentoring activities.

College-bound students attend the Pre-College Career Fair where they meet with colleges and select employers. Student surveys confirm a positive impact toward the attainability of a STEM career in the majority of participating students.

The workshops and activities are valuable tools in helping to pave the STEM pathway and have benefited students by exposing them to STEM employers and professionals as well as providing the opportunity to meet with colleges and universities.

The 2025 Pre-College Program will take place on Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Baltimore Convention Center in the heart of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
